We employ enthusiastic and friendly student staff who proudly represent UW–Madison. They lead tours and provide information for prospective students and families, visitors of all ages, and the campus community. They also provide support for other areas of the office.

- Salary: $10.30/hr+ with potential increases based upon seniority, performance, and advancement
- Schedule: Pre-set weekday, evening, and weekend hours, including one evening staff meeting per month
- Training schedule: Positions typically start in May and January, although some start in August or mid-semester.

INFORMATION GUIDES
Information Guides assist students, faculty and staff, prospective students, visitors, and members of the community with information about the campus and surrounding areas. They provide services in person, by phone, and through Ask Bucky email from four locations (Union South, Memorial Union, and Discovery Town Center, and One Alumni Place).
TOUR GUIDES
Tour Guides educate visitors about academics and campus life, as well as the history, traditions, and achievements of the university. They serve the university by leading prospective and admitted student tours, customized campus tours for school groups, alumni, and distinguished guests, and facility tours for Discovery and the Wisconsin Union. Please note, tour guides typically start only in May and January.
SUITE STAFF
Suite staff serve in administrative, marketing, or frontline service roles that support one or more of our programs. They also lead special projects and assist with operations and employee engagement functions. Some suite staff positions are advancement opportunities, open only to current CAVR staff. Others are open to all students.
