As the state’s flagship university, UW–Madison has over 40,000 students and more than 900 acres to explore. We offer almost 9,000 courses in every area of study imaginable, so your students can see and do things on campus that are unique, educational, fun, and free or low-cost.
Custom visits can be planned for conference participants, alumni groups, prospective or new student groups of 10 or more, foreign delegations, civic groups and more.
Due to holidays, university breaks, and high-volume prospective student visit days, there may be dates on which we are unable to accommodate requests for customized group visits/field trips. Please note that many venues and activities can fill quickly during peak visit months (April, May, June, October).
If you would like to visit in October, March, April, or May (our most popular visit months), we recommend submitting your visit request three months in advance.
“As a teacher of 25 years, I appreciate all of your insight and wonderful ideas to accommodate a group of 200 students. I also wanted to say what a fantastic group of public relations people you have on staff. You are going above and beyond to make people happy. Thank you for making our day special.” — Middle school teacher, Monroe, WI
